Stephanie Zaremba is Senior Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs at athenahealth, Inc., headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts. athenahealth is a health information technology company that provides web-based electronic health record, care coordination, revenue cycle management, and patient communication services to physician groups. Ms. Zaremba manages athenahealth’s public policy initiatives, which are aimed at ensuring that federal policies enable innovation in health IT. She focuses on issues regarding patient safety, care coordination, regulatory oversight of health IT, and payment reform. She also represents athenahealth in a variety of health care and regulatory compliance issues, including in the design of athenahealth’s patient safety reporting program and partnership with Quantros PSO. Prior to joining athenahealth, Ms. Zaremba received her law degree from Boston College Law School. She graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Policy Studies and Economics.
