About Michelle Jones
Michelle Jones received a BA from Ball State University while at the Indiana Women’s Prison, where she has been incarcerated since 1997. After graduating, she served for many years as a TA in higher education programs at the prison. She is currently taking graduate courses at Indiana University in American Studies. Michelle is a founding member
of the One Net - One Life Mosquito Net Project, a prison-based community outreach program, and a founder and choreographer of the prison’s liturgical praise dance ensemble, Lifted!
