Alise Cayen is an award-winning English teacher and magnet school coordinator in Southern California, where she oversees two successful magnet programs at Reseda High School, one that partners the Los Angeles Police Department with the Los Angeles Unified School District to prepare high school students for careers in law enforcement. Under her direction, Reseda High School’s Police Academy Magnet made a name for itself by producing consistent success in attendance, graduation, and college acceptance rates.
